高速无线通信高阶多普勒谱估计方法

摘要: 移动终端的运动导致接收信号产生多普勒频移,增大了系统误码率,影响整个系统通信质量.接收端信号产生多普勒频移是由收发端之间相对径向运动产生的,通过多普勒频率估计和补偿可以解决由此导致的误码问题.研究了收发端相对高速运动时多普勒频移补偿尚存在的精确度不高和实时性不好的问题,期望有更好的补偿方法.研究结果表明高速运动中的横向运动分量会使多普勒展宽,形成线性调频信号效应,导致通信系统产生误码,且无法用常规频移方法补偿.进一步研究了高阶多普勒谱估计及其补偿方法.研究表明高阶谱主要是由横向运动和径向加速运动形成的,高阶谱补偿可以解决包括相对横向运动和径向加速运动的大部分运动对通信系统的影响.仿真结果表明结合常规多普勒谱估计和本文提出的高阶多普勒估计并对接收信号进行补偿能有效恢复信号并降低误码率.

Abstract: Doppler effect is the main problem caused by high­speed movement of mobile terminal,which is a major contributing factor in decline in the quality of the communication system.The bit error rate(BER)and inter­carrier interference(ICI)increases that are attributed to large Doppler frequency shift.Research on the frequency compensation has important application value.Up to now,several methods have been proposed for estimating and compensating the one­order phase,such as level crossing rate(LCR),fast Fourier transform(FFT)and so on.Given that the high­order Doppler effect is less studied at present,the paper studies the problem of low precision and poor real­time performance of current Doppler shift compensation and a better compensation method in which the previous Doppler frequency shift and the changing rate are leveraged to estimate the current Doppler frequency shift is expected.The results show that the transverse motion of high­speed movement of the receiver will make the spectrum broaden,resulting in linear frequency modulated signal effect.And it cannot be compensated by conventional method.Furthermore,the high­order Doppler estimation and its compensation method are studied.The research indicates that the high­order spectrum is mainly composed of the transverse motion and the radial acceleration motion,and high­order spectral compensation can solve the impact of the majority of motion on the communication system including these two kinds of motion.And the phase difference is used to estimate the transverse velocity of terminal and then the frequency shift will be calculated.After that,the one­order and two­order phase compensation can be performed.Simulation results show the effectiveness of the method,and indicate that by combining the conventional Doppler estimation and the high­order Doppler estimation proposed in this paper,the signal can be effectively restoredand the BER can be reduced,even under low signal to noise ratio(SNR).
