Abstract

To study the disturbance from high-speed railway noise, the main influence time distribution and the impact on sleep, so that effective suggestions on noise controlling, acoustics function planning and land planning could be achieved, a survey has been carried out within 200 m along the high-speed railway. Data were analyzed to establish Noise exposure–Subjective impact relationship model. The results showed that: (1) residents along the high-speed railway were greater affected by rail noise which was closely with sleep; (2) 20:00-22:00 was the greatest affected time period of the whole day; (3) decreased sleep quality for this reason; (4) the degree of influence positively correlated with the exposure sound level. Based on analysis of acoustic environment livability under different exposure sound level from high-speed railway, proposals of acoustics function planning and land planning were put forward.
