Two­dimensional simulation of solute transport in fractured media based on multiple­point geostatistics

摘要:  应用多点地质统计模拟方法对某理想二维裂隙研究区进行还原,并将生成的二维裂隙网络模型与MODFLOW和MT3DMS结合,进行水流及溶质运移模拟.模拟结果表明,随着时间的推移,溶质较为严格地按照裂隙发育的方向运移,优势流现象明显;改变裂隙渗透系数与基岩渗透系数的比值,则随着比值的不断增大,裂隙研究区水流的各向异性及优势流现象愈加明显.研究表明,多点地质统计方法可以有效模拟裂隙网络结构特征及裂隙地下水流及溶质运移特征,是一种较为有效的裂隙网络模拟方法.

Abstract:  In this paper,themultiple point statistical simulationmethod was used to establish and calibrate a synthetic two­dimensionalfracture network model.Also,the generated model was combined with MODFLOW and MT3DMS codes to simulate the flow and solute transport in the fracture network.The simulation results show that the solute in fracture network is transporting strictlyovertimein agreement with the orientation of the fractures.Furthermore,as the conductivity ratio between channel and matrixincreases,the phenomenon of anisotropy and preferential flow becomes much more obvious.It is shown that the multiple­point statistical simulationprovides a powerful toolfor characterizing complicated fracture networks as well as simulatingthe flow and solute transport in fracture networks.
