摘要:
瞬时测量目标的极化特性,雷达要针对水平极化和垂直极化同时发射和接收两个互相正交的信号。匹配滤波输出峰值旁瓣电平(peak sidelobe level, PSL)和正交信号隔离度(isolation, I)是影响极化测量结果的重要因素。改进正交信号隔离度和峰值旁瓣电平比能提高极化测量精度。极化测量常用的正交信号分别是正负线性调频。线性调频信号海明加权后匹配滤波输出峰值旁瓣电平比可达42dB, 正负线性调频隔离度达到22dB。本文针对极化测量的高峰值旁瓣电平比及高隔离度的要求,研究非线性调频信号和线性调频信号组成混合调频正交信号对,根据线性调频信号参数设计和优化非线性调频信号。计算和仿真结果表明,设计的混合调频正交信号对,隔离度比正负线性调频信号提高了1.5dB,其中非线性调频信号的峰值旁瓣电平比线性调频信号提高了7dB,改进了雷达极化测量的波形。
Abstract:
According to the polarization characteristics of the polarization radar target measurements, two orthogonal signals should be simultaneously sent and received for the horizontal polarization and vertical polarization individually. Peak sidelobe level (PSL) and orthogonal signal isolation (isolation, I) are the two important factors affecting the polarization measurement results. The polarization measurement accuracy can be improved along with the increasement of PSL and I. The chirp signal (up chirp and down chirp) has been the most widely applied in the orthogonal polarization measurements. Weighted by the Hamming function, the PSL of the chirp signal is up to 42dB and the I reaches 22dB as outputting from the matched filter. In order to increase PSL and I, mixed frequency modulated orthogonal waveform is designed, in which a non-linear frequency modulated signal is applied and optimized according to the chirp signal parameters. The calculation and simulation results show that, compared with the chirp signal, the level of I can increase to 1.5dB, and the PSL of the non-linear frequency modulated signal can improve 7dB in the proposed signal pairs.
